Once upon a time… there was a caring person locked up in the corporate world, wondering if it really was OK to ignore the costs of doing business.

The human cost as seen in terms of growing mental health issues, depression and stress etc. The environmental costs as seen in terms of not valuing natural resources.

This person was Heather Raines who became committed to finding a sustainable path that valued relationships, the concepts of reducing, re-using, recycling, and encouraging personal well-being.

Wouldn’t it be a great thing if we, as humans, were able to slow down, strengthen relationships and get more out of life and living.

Rainesforest World was born, with our truth NOT FOLLOWING the path of needless opulence.., of damage to our planet…, of social irresponsibility.

Surely we can have a place of retreat, respite, and rest that offers health-improving help to anyone who understands our values. Massage, Day Spa treatments, caring and nurturing, all delivered within our very own Rainesforest setting of green healing energy.

Since our beginning 16 years ago, we now have 11 treatment rooms, 7 individual spa/sauna/relaxation areas, and opening hours that make it possible for us to be of service 7 days a week. Even some public holidays we are open, when our therapists volunteer to be available.

Heather has been able to build a team of 48 willing people to help share her dream.

It is a privilege to work with clients in an authentic way. We salute personal honesty, integrity and your true self.

Any Rainesforest visit does not require you to don 6” high heels, wear the latest in fashionable designer clothing and hide yourself behind makeup that has taken hours of artistic creation to achieve.

Our branding message is “relax your way to better health’. This is a healing idea.
